Experience Levels
DISCOVERY KAYAK
8+ years
£60 per person
- A relaxed introduction perfect for beginners, families and anyone looking for a slightly slower paced session with more time to take in the scenery.
- Any ability level can join this session and have a great time.
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
EXPLORER KAYAK
13+ years
£60 per person
- A faster paced session perfect for those who have been before or simply feel confident and adventurous.
- Suitable for anyone who’s comfortable in water and enjoys a challenge.
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Timings +
Morning session: 09:00 – 12:30
Afternoon session: 13:30 – 17:00
Sessions are 3.5 hours long including kitting up and travelling. You can expect to spend roughly 2 – 2.5 hours on the water.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your activity start time.
Experience Levels +
DISCOVERY: These sessions are perfect for complete beginners, families with children aged 8 and above, and anyone who is looking to explore at a slower pace with more time to take in the scenery. If you have a mixed level group, it’s best to go for this session to make sure no one’s struggling to keep up.
EXPLORER: These sessions are best for anyone looking for a faster pace and more challenging interactions with the environment. This is a good choice for anyone who’s been kayaking or canoeing before. However, you don’t need to have been kayaking before to join this session, you just need to come with a level of water-confidence, reasonable fitness and adventurous spirit.
Age Restrictions +
DISCOVERY: This trip is suitable for children of 8 years and above.
EXPLORER: This trip is suitable for children of 13 years and above.
On both level trips, children who are 16 and under will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Anyone over the age of 16 years may attend either session by themselves, but anyone under the age of 18 require their waiver to be completed by their legal guardian.
What’s included? +
All specialist kit & equipment is provided.
You’ll be given a list of what to wear and bring in your confirmation of booking (e.g. a towel, your bathers etc).
Where? +
Kayaking sessions take place in various locations around the St David’s Peninsula and are chosen on the day to best suit the conditions.
You’ll meet at the kayaking company’s base in St Davids (precise location will be shared in your confirmation of booking email). Here, you’ll get kitted up in changing rooms and driven to the activity location in the company minibus.
