The Eco Barn & Lodges offer a range of self-catering accommodation options for climate-conscious explorers to unwind after a day of adventure.
Nestled in an ancient wooded valley that winds down to the sea, the Eco Barn & Lodges are only a 15-minute walk from the expansive and secluded sand-and-shingle beach of Abermawr and the cosy neighbouring cove of Aberbach. From here you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, an undulating national trail that hugs the vast and varied coastline for 186 miles.
Sitting on the Northern coastline, about halfway between the historic cathedral city of St David’s and the coastal market town of Fishguard, the Eco Barn & Lodges offer a peaceful rural outpost from which to explore the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The Eco Barn
We are excited to unveil the newest addition to our range of accommodation. Newly refurbished, the Eco Barn stands apart from the Eco Lodges and sleeps up to 8 guests: the perfect sanctuary for larger families or those wanting more of their own space. A unique and spacious conversion, the eco barn has stunning views of the North Pembrokeshire coast and makes the most of its incredible location with a balcony overlooking the wooded valley, with dramatic views of the rocky volcanic outcrop of Garn Fawr and the wild Northern coastline.
The Eco Lodges
The iconic marshmallow-pink eco-lodge has served as a base for adventurers for many years. Over the next couple of years, we’ll be transforming this space into several self-catering cottages, each with its own kitchen facilities and living space, in a range of sizes to suit solo-travellers, couples, small families, large families and groups. There will be some private garden areas for individual lodges but the outdoor spaces you will remember, such as the lawn and courtyard will continue to offer a sense of vibrant community where children can play and roam freely whilst adults can get together for a local brew around the bonfire. Opening for bookings from Winter 2024.
