Coming soon: newly refurbished self-catering cottages on the North Pembrokeshire Coast for solo-travellers, couples, families and groups.
A new Venture.
This year, a new chapter is beginning to unfold for Preseli Venture as we renovate the former Eco Lodge into a series of self-contained cottages around the courtyard, each with its own living space and kitchen facilities. These unique Courtyard Cottages will be a range of sizes, so we can continue to welcome all sorts of adventurers; solo-travellers, couples, small families, large families and small groups. Medium-sized groups will even be able to book a few cottages next door to one another.
A sanctuary to unwind.
Each newly refurbished cottage will offer a unique and tranquil space in which to relax, reconnect, simply be together and unwind after a day of adventure.
Magnificent views.
Whether you’re looking out across Pembrokeshire’s rolling hills and dancing meadows, toward the rugged Northern coastline, the rocky volcanic outcrop of Garn Fawr or the twisting canopy of the ancient woodland at the foot of the valley: there’s beauty in every direction.
Relaxing outdoor spaces.
There will be some private garden areas for individual cottages but the outdoor spaces you will remember, such as the lawn and courtyard will continue to offer a sense of vibrant community where adults can get together for a local brew and watch the sunset over the sea, and children can play, roam freely and toast marshmallows around the bonfire. Just like old times.
Where adventurous souls come together.
The much-loved Eco Lodge has served as a welcoming base for adventurers for many years. It’s been a vibrant space where people from all walks of life come together with at least one thing in common – a love for nature, adventure and exploring the great outdoors. Adventure is still at the heart of everything we do. We’ve hand-picked the very best adventure activities you can do here in Pembrokeshire, so that when you stay at the Courtyard Cottages, you’ll be part of the adventure community.
A short walk to the beach.
Abermawr is a hidden gem and even in the summer offers a peaceful haven away from the crowds. Just a 20-minute walk from the Courtyard Cottages through the National Trust woodland will bring you to this spectacular wild sand-and-shingle beach, perfect for swimming, rockpooling, beach barbecues and ball games at low tide. From here you can also join the Pembrokeshire coast path.
“The surrounding area is beautiful, the valley we walked in and the local beach were virtually empty and full of wild flowers and lovely woodland. Thank you for making our stay so special”.
