Surfing Adventure
Pembrokeshire is an ideal location to learn to surf: quiet beach breaks to suit all levels and small summer swells to play about in. With friendly and encouraging guidance, you’ll learn how to pick a wave, paddle into it, and ride it to shore. This trip is perfect for adult and family beginners who’ve never been surfing, or those who’ve tried it a few times and want to develop their skills. You’ll spend time practicing your pop, finding your balance and building confidence on the board, but most importantly, surfing is about having fun, laughing, playing, falling (with style!) and celebrating each others’ waves.
Meeting Point: Usually Newgale.

Sessions are 2.5 hours, including kitting up time.

Experience Level +
All abilities are welcome to join this trip. You’ll be riding soft-top foam boards which are suitable for beginners.
Age Restrictions +
This trip is suitable for children of 10 years and above.
Children don’t require adult accompaniment in the water, but it’s best if you’re in the vicinity e.g. on the beach, at the cafe or in the carpark.
What’s included? +
All specialist kit & equipment is included.
You’ll need to bring:
- Bathers to wear underneath the wetsuit (which is provided).
- A towel.
- Some warm clothes to put on after getting changed.
Where? +
You’ll meet your guide at the beach carpark. Generally, the location is the South end of Newgale Beach (meeting in the carpark near Pebbles Cafe). However this could change if the conditions are better suited to a different location, so check your confirmation of booking and any other correspondence from the provider before the day.
